Join us Tuesday, July 15 at the Aladdin Theater, 3017 SE Milwaukie Ave., Portland for Abigail Washburn and the Sparrow Quartet . Abigail will be donating her share of the show’s profits to Sisters Of The Road!

The show is $23.50 adv / $25.00 day of show, 8:00 PM. Find out more about buying tickets on the Aladdin’s website.

Abigail Washburn plays what is being called ‘the future of folk music”. You can hear this new sound embodied in the music of Abigail Washburn and the Sparrow Quartet, an all-star collaboration featuring Bela Fleck, Ben Sollee and Casey Driessen. This project and all aspects of Washburn’s artistry are deeply influenced by her love of the roots music of the United States and the Chinese culture she has been exploring for over a decade.  The sound, though, has evolved beyond those influences into a cinematic soundscape the encompasses a wide range of textures and influences culminating in her strongest and most adventurous work to date.
