Floor Manager / Closer ($12.36/hr + benefits)

Sisters Of The Road, a non-profit cafe primarily serving people experiencing poverty, seeks part time floor manager to supervise day-to day cafe operations.  Hours may vary; typical work day 12pm – 5pm.

Includes team work, scheduling, conflict resolution, training volunteers, and offering genuine hospitality to all. Requires physical stamina, ability to be on the move for 5 hours at a time with constant multi-tasking. Looking for attention to detail, quick problem solving, solid communication, people skills, maturity and assertiveness. Experience in food service and working with a diverse population a must. Must be willing to learn and practice SOTR’s philosophy of non –violence, gentle personalism and community organizing.
