If we have the money to spend jailing people, enforcing camping bans, and building more places for people to be homeless, then we have the money to build or put people into permanent housing, plain and simple.

We wouldn’t be able to do the work that we do without partnering individuals and organizations. In our ongoing Community Spotlight series, we aim to uplift those in our community moving forward initiatives aligned with our mission.

At Sisters, we see the direct results of evictions far too often. I’ve heard so many stories of people unjustly evicted who had no idea how to defend themselves.
